Training Rooted in National Standards

Our founder is a certified Stop the Bleed® instructor, trained through the national bleeding control education program developed by the American College of Surgeons in partnership with the U.S. Department of Defense. The techniques we teach — direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application — are based on this same nationally recognized standard of care, now taught to millions of people across the country.

The Minutes Matter Project is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit and is not an official Stop the Bleed® licensee or partner organization. We are proud to build on the foundation this national program has established, and we encourage anyone interested in official Stop the Bleed® certified courses to visit stopthebleed.org.
